The importance of functional texture gets a wide audience
A new short-format documentary called “Texture Solutions” is being broadcast this month on North American 24-hour news outlets, cable channels and Public Television stations to introduce Standex Engraving Mold-Tech to a wider audience. The story presents the concept of intentional texture design and how it enhances the products we use every day. Viewers are then introduced to Standex Engraving Mold-Tech as the global leader in the texture design, engraving and tool performance industry.
Running at just under 7 minutes, the story will air on CNN, CNN Headline News, MSNBC, CNBC, Fox News, Fox Business Network, TLC, Travel, and Discovery during prime time. Public Television stations will also air the video between the end of their programming and the top of the hour. A new 30-second commercial will also be launched promoting our One Partner solution.
To explain the wide influence we have on the texturing industry, a production team interviewed Jim Hooven, President; Todd Wilmore, Laser Manager and Kalin Witt, Vycon Manager at Mold-Tech Michigan last spring. Footage taken at locations from all regions features the services we offer and our global capabilities.
With interviews and narration, viewers learn how textures can solve a variety of issues including some environmentally responsible benefits gained through thoughtful design. Jim Hooven explains the start-to-finish One Partner solution we offer to support our customers from design, verification and through production. The piece also includes highlights from the Manta project and how it’s challenging designers to explore the ‘Art of the Possible.’
